Bringing Hope to Children and Families in Pakistan
We visit children in brick-line communities and poor villages, teach them from the Bible, pray with their families, and help with practical needs whenever God gives us the opportunity.
Who We Are
My name is Farhan Javed, and together with my wife, I serve children and families in Toba Tek Singh, Punjab, Pakistan.
Our ministry is called Hope Light. We especially serve children and families living in brick-line communities and poor villages. We visit them personally, pray with them, teach children from the Bible, and provide practical help whenever God gives us the opportunity.
Our desire is to share the love of Jesus Christ with people who are living in difficult circumstances and to bring both spiritual and practical hope to their lives.
The Children We Serve
At present, we are serving approximately 30 children, including children from brick-line communities.
Many of these children come from very poor families who struggle to provide basic necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, shoes, and education.
We want these children to know that they are loved by God and that their lives have value. Through Bible teaching, prayer, and practical support, we want to encourage them to have hope for their future.
Our Ministry Work
Shoes for 30 Children
Recently, we were able to provide shoes for 30 children. Seeing the happiness on their faces and the gratitude of their families encouraged us greatly. We believe that even a small act of love can make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.
The Need for Clean Water
One of the greatest needs we have seen in the villages is
access to clean and safe water. Some families have to walk a
long distance to collect water, which is especially difficult for
children and women. We have already helped arrange a water pump in one village, and the families there were very happy to have a closer, more reliable source of water. Now we are praying for partners who
can help us reach five more villages.
How Others Can Help
We cannot do this work alone. We are looking for churches, ministries, families, and
individuals who will pray for these children and families and consider partnering with us.
Our Vision
Our vision is to continue reaching more brick-line communities and villages, helping children receive education, teaching them the Word of God, and giving them hope for a better future.
We also hope that, with God’s help and the support of partners, we can eventually develop a place where children can learn, receive biblical teaching, and have opportunities to grow and build a better future.
We believe every child deserves to be loved, encouraged, educated, and given hope.
